YouTube end screens are a great way to increase your video’s engagement. In this article we’ll explain what an end screen is and what it’s for. We’ll also offer some tips on how to create a professional end screen for your video.

An end screen is a video element which displays at the end of an online video. It offers a branded experience to viewers and can be used for product placement, storytelling, or brand identity. They are typically shown for 30 seconds.

The end screen can also be referred to as the “teaser” of a video. Some videos are intended to be viewed one-at-a-time, like a slideshow. Others are not intended for single viewing but instead for multiple viewings and interaction with the viewer. For these types of videos, you need to provide some kind of call to action at the end of your video so that users can move on to another video or website.

The end screen is usually the last thing on a video that the viewer sees before they leave. It can be anything from a simple “thank you for watching” message to a more creative animated video.

To make your own end screen, you will need to upload your video to YouTube and then click the “end card” button in the top-right corner of the page. The card will have some basic templates that you can use, or you can create your own by uploading an image and writing text on it.

Some questions to consider when producing your end screen include:

•What information do you want your viewer to take away? Is that informationclear and prominent?

•What action do you want them to take? Does your end screen make it easy as possible for them?

•Do you have a sponsor or advertiser you need to mention? If so have you given them appropriate coverage?

•Does your end screen look professional? Is your branding consistent?

•Have you thanked your viewer for watching?

Your end screen could consist only of text over laid on a still image or video clip. However you can create a professional look with a voice-over. You can provide your own soundtrack, or record a voice-over with an actor or influencer. However many people make this process simpler and cheaper by using text-to-speech (TTS) technology. An app such as Metavoicer allows you to try out nearly a thousand different voices speaking 70 languages. When you’ve found the right one for you, simply enter your text and Metavoicer outputs an MP3 file.
